Meghan's Word Salad Compilation

A compilation of Meghan Markle's best word salads. Enjoy!

Transcript:

M: I do you know, and I think it’s important to view our wedding day as less of a union in marriage and more of a pageant to the gods of wokeism by inviting it’s most prominent disciples, right, in a congregation that actually gets inside the royal gates. I think that’s important. Sends a strong message. (2,1)

Meghan: The more I hear these stories the more I just feel sorry for them. Are they so self-absorbed and vengeful that they perceive our safe-space, truth-seeking sessions so offensive they need to hurl abuse our way. It’s wrong, right? (2,2)

Meghan: I think it was because i, we have a special bond with Madame Tussauds, or did - this feels a betrayal - Harry and I had a lovely date there after they’d made our waxworks, I mean, otherwise, what's the point of going?

Interviewer: Indeed.

Meghan: It was so funny though, we all laughed so much, because after the date I went home with the wax version of Harry, oh we laughed. (2,3)

Meghan: It’s as though some people think I’m just making this stuff up. That I just spout purposefully meaningless and cleverly destructive platitudes. Or that I’m trying to sound cleverer and wiser than I am? Or that I have very meagre life experience and qualifications for telling others how to live and be happy.

Interview: incredible that.. (2,5)

Meghan: I’m shocked that anyone would accuse me of bullying, quite hurt actually…

(cuts to interview looking sympathetic)

Meghan: if i ever spoke to anyone in with a sharp tongue it would have been at a time when I was acting on instincts that go above the head of the cleaner people or the bed makers, and when they slow me down, they are doing a lot of incremental damage, to the people I’m not helping, so yeah I think a few moments of aggression are acceptable in the circumstances (2,6)

that the merit of the formalised standards of behaviour previously observed, are valid, and not mere oppressive structures of conditioning imposed by old, white, straight men.

Interviewer: Oh, so reducing everything to grossness makes people miserable enough, and so full of hopelessness, that they’ll impatiently latch onto any nonsensical prattle to escape the black reality brought about by old white men and rescue themselves by fleeing to the lands of fairytale wokery?

Meghan: That’s right. (3,1)

Meg: Does anyone expect me to endure the kind of criticism that a normal person can endure? I’m thousands of times more sensitive than the average person, which comes with great benefits, such as a deeper self-awareness and an inner wisdom - but that comes with additional pain. (3,2)

Meghan: Our titles enable us to interact and interface with lots of rich, important and most of all generous people...

Harry: Yeah, they put us up in gorgeous mansions...

Meghan: Harry! Generous in giving time and money to support the causes close to our heart, especially those associated with mental health support; teaching people how to reset their lives. (3,4)

white males, bigoted slave-owning homophobes, are ok and don’t need changing. They want to conserve what they have

Harry: Hear that…(pointing towards Meghan, looking at the interviewer.)

Meghan: ...because they’re winning; in their world, hate has spread because of the old ways and they feed on that hate, so of course they don’t want me showing everyone how we can change and build a better, more equal world (3,5)

Meghan: So what if I live in the manner befitting my status as a truth bringer? Would you expect me to slum it with the rabble? No. I would shrivel up in those circumstances, the world would lose me.

(Harry shaking his head disappointedly at the interviewer) (3,5)

Meghan: If we don’t look happy, it’s because we’re under assault right now. It’ll pass, everything will be okay, in the end, it’s just that now happiness is drained from us by vicious verbal attacks. I mean have you seen the parodies on youtube?

Interviewer: Someone of them took my breath away

Meghan: I know, right? I only have enough energy to be happy with children and with the wellwishers that follow us around the globe. That’s all I have, just enough for the children, and my fans, but only when there is a camera present, if there’s no camera, I must conserve my love. (3,6)
